Berkshire Search and Rescue Dog wins Crufts!
Everyone at the Berkshire Search & Rescue team and CSJ would like to take this opportunity to thank you for voting for Brock - who happens to love CSJ products too!
Brock, a collie-cross Australian shepherd dog, came first in this year’s Crufts "Friends for Life" contest, which celebrates Britain’s four-legged heroes. The competition was decided by public vote and strong competition came in the form of an assistance dog to a former Army Soldier, a Police Dog who saved his handlers life and the youngest ever deaf girl to receive a hearing dog.
As a Lowland Search and Rescue dog based in Berkshire, Brock and his handler Louise Holmes discovered the body of Dr Kelly in July 2003. Since then most of the work Brock does relates to finding countless sufferers of Alzheimers and other such terrible diseases.
One particular search was for a lady affected with this whose carer had left her house door unlocked and she wandered out. Brock was able to track her from her house through the streets some hours after she had gone missing. Luckily she was found and brought home safely. Without Brock, the police would have been searching for hours possibly days until someone found her. Brock has a Chief Constable's Commendation. The only non police dog to ever receive a Chief Constable's Commendation in the Thames Valley area.
Berkshire Search and Rescue Dogs is a volunteer search dog group on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to assist the Police and other emergency services in locating lost or missing persons.
All team members have full time occupations and Berkshire SAR Dogs relies on donations to stay running.
CSJ is very proud to be associated with Brock and everyone at Berkshire SAR.

I won't do that again!!
Hi Ceri,
I thought I would email to let you know I've just put another order through. A friend bought our last bag so we haven't ordered for ourselves for a while.
The reason I am emailing is that we chose to try a bag of biscuits which were not CSJ and were from a local store. I am amazed at the difference in my dog's coat, health and smell (both fur and breath)!
When she was on the CSJ biscuits (probably for the last couple of years), people used to comment on how shiny her fur was. Her stools were always easy to pick up and her teeth were white. She's had ONE BAG (15kg) of different biscuits and her fur is dull and shedding. Her teeth are starting to go brown and she smells like an old dog. I am amazed as she's only 4 years old. I'm just hoping that some of the effects of the last lot of biscuits will be reversible with the CSJ!!
Have other people told you of such a big difference with biscuits? It really does appear that the poor biscuits have aged her! She's even sleeping more and for a border collie you'll know that's unusual in a young dog! It's very strange in such a short period of time. What on earth do these companies use to make them??!
Regards,
Debbie B.
