CSJ Charity Test raises over £1235....
On Sunday 8th May, by kind permission of Lord Mansfield and his keeper Roddy MacIntosh of Logiealmond Estate, Perthshire, the Strathmore Working Gundog Club held a Charity Test, organised as always by Alison Sorley, on behalf of CSJ.
Alison has a tremendous record in raising monies for charity and on this occasion raised £1235 which was donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Also many thanks to everyone that helped on the day and handed in prizes: Without all members coming along on the day the event would not be so successful. Also a big 'Thank you!' to Kathy Bouch who donated the lunches for Judges & officials much appreciated.
The weather was very changeable with torrential downpours throughout the day but this failed to dampen the enthusiastic atmosphere.
Throughout the event, fieldsports photographer, Greg Knight, took some fantastic action shots of the dogs. These pictures can be viewed/purchased via his website www.ruralshots.com with Greg giving a commission from sales to the chosen charity.
The judges for the day were Tom West, Tom Smith, Barry McDowell and Alan Meldrum having a total of 110 dogs to put through their paces.

Heal works! Great value too!
I just wanted to write to say how impressed and pleased I am with "Heal". My Boxer, Amber has always had a delicate stomach and would often be off her food 2-3 times a week, waking me up in the night to go outside with a gurgling tummy, eating grass and looking thoroughly fed up until late afternoon when she would recover and start eating.
Since starting her on "Heal" she no longer disturbs us at night to go outside and only has a sore tummy very occasionally...maybe once or twice a month at the most, which is a vast improvement!! and means that I get my sleep!!
When I finished the first tub of "Heal" it took me about a month to get round to re-ordering, and during that time she went back to having a sore stomach a few times a week, which just confirmed to me that the herbs really do soothe and calm her digestive system and since starting them again she has been fine.
I am also impressed with the value for money compared to other herbal products. The tubs are massive and last for ages, and smell really nice too.
Many thanks
Susan
