Funtime Franky Boy wins Strathmore Novice A/V Spaniel Trial
Hi Ceri,
Just a short note to say thanks for sponsoring the Strathmore Working Gundog Club's spring novice A/V Spaniel trial at Airlie Estate, Angus on 28th March '09.
It was a cold cold day, with a wind that would cut you in half. Add some snow and hail showers and you start to get the picture.
Not perfect for a Rabbit trial! But we got going, and when you were on the move, things didn't seem so bad, especially as we got into some game pretty quickly.
As the day went on, every dog was getting finds and retrieves, with very little escaping the guns.
At the end of the trial, two dogs shone through, both handling the very difficult conditions extremely well - John Gibson's two year old dog Funtime Franky Boy and Spence Waddell's Gartshore Robb of Garebrig, also two years old.
As the judges, myself and Wendy Openshaw, pondered the results over a welcome cuppa, it was decided to give the win to Funtime Franky Boy for being just a little tidier in his work.
I've attached a photo of a delighted John Gibson.
Once again, thanks for your support.
Bill.

Heal works! Great value too!
I just wanted to write to say how impressed and pleased I am with "Heal". My Boxer, Amber has always had a delicate stomach and would often be off her food 2-3 times a week, waking me up in the night to go outside with a gurgling tummy, eating grass and looking thoroughly fed up until late afternoon when she would recover and start eating.
Since starting her on "Heal" she no longer disturbs us at night to go outside and only has a sore tummy very occasionally...maybe once or twice a month at the most, which is a vast improvement!! and means that I get my sleep!!
When I finished the first tub of "Heal" it took me about a month to get round to re-ordering, and during that time she went back to having a sore stomach a few times a week, which just confirmed to me that the herbs really do soothe and calm her digestive system and since starting them again she has been fine.
I am also impressed with the value for money compared to other herbal products. The tubs are massive and last for ages, and smell really nice too.
Many thanks
Susan
