Live Wires win 4 Divisions at the Summer Championships

The event took place at Holt Farm, Southam, Warks over 3 days - 13^th - 15^th August. 246 teams from the whole of the UK (Scotland, England Wales & even Isle of Man) took part in the biggest Championship the British Flyball Association has run to date. There were 4 rings and an average of 82 teams took part each day.

Live Wires who are also sponsored by CSJ entered 8 teams and with one other club from the Midlands had entered the highest number of teams in the competition.  Not only that but the same two clubs had the highest total of 4 teams each competing in the top divisions on the last day of the Championships.

Live Wires however achieved the best performance of any club there, winning 4 divisions in all!  Having qualified, due to the seed time they'd achieved over the year, two of our teams were competing in the top two divisions.  Live Wires, our top team, with a best time of 16.63 seconds this year have been top of the UK seed list since March. Though they didn't quite gain the ultimate prize ie. Division 1 Champions, after a poor start did a whole lot better to take 2^nd place, an excellent achievement, nonetheless.

From 8 teams we had 4 wins, one 2^nd & one 4^th place so all credit to the dogs and their handlers for these performances.  CSJ products always keep our dogs in trim, fighting fit for top speed racing and able to take on the best in UK and come out on top!

Thanks to CSJ for providing the prizes for the event for the second year running – it was very much appreciated by the BFA and all their members who attended.
