SDAS 2010/11 Championships
Thanks to the generous and continued support of CSJ specialist canine feeds the Sled Dog Association of Scotland (SDAS) has just had one of its best seasons to date. It has hosted the biggest entries to many of its races since its formation some 20 years ago, with teams travelling across the UK, from Ireland and Somerset, to compete.
The SDAS race season runs from October to March and is a championship series of six races, incorporating for the first time this season The Scottish National Championship, also a qualifier for the world dryland championships to be held in Germany in November 2011.
Races are run over distances between 2-6 miles dependent on temperatures; terrain varies from the flat sandy trails of Culbin forest, Morayshire to the grassy, technical and testing trails of Bowlands, Perthshire. The Sled dog association of Scotland offers something for everyone with 2-6 dog team classes to 1 dog Bikejor, Scooter and Canicross, and thanks to CSJ no-one leaves empty handed with delicious treats awarded to all our canine partners.
This year competition has been fierce, with the purchase of a timing system events are more professional and results demonstrate just how close racing is.
SDAS in partnership with CSJ is proud to offer the best sled dog racing in the UK, and with series champions in the 6, 4, 3 dog and scooter classes being fed on CSJ, the results speak for themselves. It is clear CSJ provides perfect nutrition for our canine athletes and is highly recommended as a food of champions!
The Sled Dog Association of Scotland and its members are delighted to have the sponsorship of CSJ for the 2011/12 racing season. With the help of CSJ the Sled Dog Association of Scotland will continue to develop the sport of sled dog racing in Scotland and the UK.

The poo eating has stopped!
Dear Ceri.
I am writing to say a huge thankyou!!!
Our 10month old choc lab has been a poo eater for almost the entire time we have had her (since 8wks old). We have tried everything we could think of seeking support from other owners of dogs that poo eat and vets, nutritionalists and behavouralists - and to be honest, had almost given up.
After speaking to a friend whose dog eats your food, we decided to look at your website and eventually spoke to you on the phone. We talked about our dogs (3 labs - all with different requirements) and home situation, as well as indepth diet discussions, and decided to try your advice (we had nothing to lose as it couldn't be any worse!).
I have to say, we are over the moon to be able to say IT WORKED! (in the first day!!) The poo eating has stopped and her stools have become more normal, and we can now finally begin to enjoy our gorgeous dog.
Thank you so much for treating us as individuals, and following us through a very stressful problem.
We will continue to follow your advice and will be recommending anybody with the same issues to yourselves.
If anyone is reading this and is having the same problem with a dog, dont give up. There is help out there, honest!!
Natalie
