Obedience Handlers

Barbara Dungiel & Magdalena Michalska

Based in Poland Barbara  & Magdalena have working type Border Collies and are very successful in Obedience and DogFrisbee.

They also deal with dogs with behavioural problems such as aggression, hyperactivity, timidity or owner separation anxiety.

As well as the 5 Border Collies, 1 German Shepherd Dog, 1 Scottish Terrier, 1 Black Russian Terrier and 1 Airedale Terrier

How did you become involved in your activity?

"Many years ago we started to train our Airedale Terriers (there were two of them then) in obedience, skijoring and guarding.

Then the obedience and frisbee era came about and we decided to have a Border Collie. Our Border Collies enabled us to broaden our horizons in shepherding, in which we want to evolve."

What is your most memorable success?

"Keeping places on podium during whole 2006 season in different dogfrisbee competitions was our biggest success."

What other successes have you had?

"Our dogs took part in obedience competitions. Our first Border Collie Frisco took up the first place in obedience when he was only 6 months old!

Frisco's other achievements:

• III PLACE in Starters (7 competitors) – DCDC SOPOT 2007
• VIII PLACE in Women Mini Distance - DCDC Bytom 2006
• I PLACE in a group competition in agility competitions – International Breed Cup – The Czech Republic, LOUNY 2005

Despite some problems with Jezzio's psyche we have managed to 'repair' it and he started in obedience, getting excellent notes. His biggest achievement in this field was the 5^th place in the Pomerania Championship. Jezzio is titled in DogFrisbee – he had qualifications for national finals in 2006, 2007 and 2009.

• qualification for national final DCDC in the Mini Distance category
• VII place in Mini Distance (29 competitors) - DCDC SOPOT 2007
• VII place OPEN (17 competitors) - DCDC SOPOT 2007
• IV place OPEN (21 competitors) - DCDC WARSZAWA 2009

Our dogs have many dog shows achievements, but it is not our priority with our Border Collies, because they are not dog-show type but working type."

"We feed all of our dogs with CSJ food one year already!!! We are very satisfied with the results. We had successfully fed pregnant bitch. Puppies had excellent health conditions, straight paws, excellent coats. They grow up as a smart healthy , and full of energy young Border Collies.

All of our dogs are in a perfect shape. Also many of our customers are really satisfied. CSJ food is even appropriate for obese dogs."
