The affix Trailbreaker comes from the registered name of one of Jacqui and Paul’s Siberians … Breaker. Jacqui says, “He was a great dog who we sadly lost at the very young age of 5 years, but who lives on today through his children, grand children and great grandchildren.”

The beginning …..

When they had their 1st Siberian ... Esk, Jacqui and Paul started showing him and naturally got to meet many other Siberian owners.

At one show a young guy was going around inviting all Sibe's (and owners of course) to come along to a training day. They were curious so went along – immediately had them hooked and on the lookout for Sibe number 2.

The current kennel

At present there are 28 dogs in the kennel:

• 7 Siberians
• 21 Scandinavian Hounds

Ages range from 15 years down to 9 months.

Most memorable occasions …..

• A great day for the couple was when Esk was placed first in his class at their very first Crufts.
• Another memorable day was when their second Siberian, Sarawana Zephyrus, won the Reserve CC at Crufts – he also won Top Sire on the same day!

Success!

In the eyes of Jacqui and Paul, in racing having a good clean run, with all the dogs working well as a unit is a success. Everything else is an added bonus………

Other activities?

Most of their time is taken up justlooking after and training the dogs - whatever time is left is normally spent building yet more dog house's! "These guy's like to chew!"
