CSJ Ferret is a complete, fully balanced recipe which is chicken and salmon based with the necessary high percentage of protein and fat to help maintain body condition and support stamina when working. 

CSJ Ferret has been specifically formulated for adult ferrets but can also be used for kits when soaked.

CSJ Ferret has been specially formulated to meet the specific nutrient requirements of ferrets which are obligate carnivores with short digestive tract.

Our recipe has a fixed formulation meaning it doesn't change and ensures ultimate consistency ie no tummy upsets.

We have added taurine and increased the vitamin E and lecithin content to improve fat stability and absorption.

Breeders will be pleased to learn that we have ensured the crunchy kibble wil mix easily with water water to produce an appetising aroma & consistent meal for younger ferrets.

PLEASE NOTE:
It is not necessary to add fresh meat to the kibble as it is fully balanced.

Composition:  Poultry Meal, Chicken Fat, Prairie Meal, Rice, Maize, Wheat, Salmon, Chicken Liver, Yeast, Lecithin.

Analytical Constituents:
Protein – 39%  Fat – 18%  Fibre – 2%  Ash – 6%

Feeding Guide
The following should serve as a rough feeding guide of how many to feed per day.                                                                            

Adult  50 - 75g
Lactating Adult  150 - 400g

Kit    5 - 7% of bodyweight

Feeding Tips

Introduce gradually over 5 - 7 day period

Suggest feeding total amount of food per day on free choice basis so they are never left for long periods with no food as can cause a problem due to short digestive tract.

If your ferret becomes overweight please do not starve it – just reduce the amount of food offered.

For kits the kibble should be soaked and fed unti they are 16 weeks old.

Always ensure fresh drinking water is available – typical quantities consumed 75 - 100ml per day.

Not necessary to add fresh meat to the kibble as it is fully balanced.
