Suggested Daily Feeding Guide
The following should serve as a rough guide so please adjust the quantities fed according to your working dog’s individual requirements. Feed per day:
- Small e.g. Terrier (2-10kg) 55-180g
- Medium e.g. Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie (10-20kg) 180-305g
- Large e.g. GSD, Belgian Shepherd (20-30kg) 305-410g
- Very Large e.g. Irish Wolfhound (30kg+) 410g+
Two half meals per day are better than one. A supply of fresh, clean water must always be available.
" We contacted you in early October when our Flattie 'Jack' needed support for his digestive system , after seeing your website with glowing testimonials. We had sought the advice of an animal practitioner but nothing had helped. After laying the problem at your door we took up your advice of feeding Jack with Champ! and the herbs Heal and Resist. We had a very rapid introductory period (1 day), and it worked like a dream from the very first meal! He has not looked back a single day since (except when he insists on drinking sea water during a swim!) Another bonus is that for the first time in his life he has put on some weight and as you can see from the photo he looks in fine shape. It is now three months since we changed over to CSJ and we would like to thank you so much for 'saving' our friend and bringing back his old sparkle."

" I was feeding on Euk and could not put weight on my dogs - Jan Ralph was talking about CSJ Champ! so decided to give it a try. It (Champ! Adult) has put on the weight I need and I now feed all my others on it too. Previously my Westie could not eat 'complete dry' as it made him ill but he is thriving on it. All the dogs' tummies have never been better and its much easier to clean up after in the garden! Thank you for that."

" After getting Rebel (a German Shepherd) in 2003, I had great problems finding a food that suited him and his digestion. I tried just about everything from various ‘super premium’ foods down to cheap supermarket ‘complete’ stuff, and eventually settled on a Lamb & Rice premium food, which ‘firmed up’ his waste to a certain extent, but was still unforgiving (with unpleasant, shall we say, side effects!) if I tried to feed enough to keep him the right weight. The results from this, however, were only satisfactory, not good, and I was sure there must be something better out there, but I was (and so was Rebel) sick of trying. Then I heard about CSJ, specifically the gluten-free food, and wondered if maybe that would help the problem. So I contacted Ceri and, after several emails, she suggested I try the Champ!. She sent me a free sample and it instantly worked a treat. His waste is now solid, he has put weight on, his coat is in excellent condition and he doesn’t shed (always a bonus with GSDs!). What’s more, I can now give him his daily rations split between 2 meals instead of 3 as I used to have to, and I do not have to worry about giving the exact amount. And he loves the taste too! So not only is it doing my dog good, it is also doing me good, not least because his waste is now much less yucky to pick up and doesn’t smell either! Which all goes to prove that you don’t have to spend a fortune to keep your dog healthy and happy. I thoroughly recommend Champ!, and will be eternally grateful to CSJ for not only being so helpful, but for making a food that works for my dog! ."
" My mixed bunch of lurchers and sighthounds have had a traumatic life before they came here from Spain and the UK. This has made their digestive system and skin even more delicate than sighthounds usually have.I have struggled in the past to find a food which will not cause gas, poorstomachs or itchy flakey skin, but still give good nutrition and allow for an active life. I have tried all sortsof different dog food with little consistent results until a friend recommended CSJ Champ. Initially I was doubtfull that such a budget food would be effective. I have to say it is the best dog food that they have had. They look extremely well, no dodgy stomachs, their weight is held and their coat and skin is superb. Thank You CSJ for being so good ."
