Feeding Instructions

Little Champ! is a completely balanced puppy food so there is no need to supplement this diet. It is recommended that you soak this food with warm water and start introducing it to your puppies from 3 weeks of age onwards. Once the puppies can ‘crunch’ the food can be fed dry, either ad-lib or according to the very rough guide below.

Suggested Daily Feeding Guide

Please adjust the daily quantity fed according to your youngster’s individual requirements. Typically, puppies should be fed 3 or 4 times per day. Size refers to adult size of puppy.

"All my previous litters had been raised on pedigree complete puppy food and I guess I had no reason to change but I decided that I would try the Champ! Puppy food. As you can see from the pics attached the puppies have thrived on it: They are neither overweight nor underweight, they are growing at the correct rate too. I did feel guilty feeding such a cheap food, but the results really speak for themselves! They never had a bad day, their poop was always solid and above all that they ENJOY eating it. I don’t have to add bits of meat to get them to eat it as I needed to do with other brands.. I am really impressed and recommend Champ! Puppy to everyone. Madison, mother of the pups had a bad time during whelping and ended up needing digestive support.. Well, I put her straight back on Wafcol salmon and potato, it did OK for her but 'only ok'.
So I put her on 'That'll Do!' and within a few weeks Madison was off all meds and she is now doing brilliant, she has never lost body since having her litter, she too thoroughly enjoys her food.
To recap... out of the seven adult labradors I have, two are on 'That'll Do!' the rest are on Champ! Adult. It's great! .
My 12 week old black puppy 'DALLAS' is still eating the Champ! Puppy though I do sometimes mix it with the Adult as I don’t like to keep them on puppy food for too long. I would prefer her to be on 'That'll do!' like her mum but so far she's doing better on a half and half mix of Champ! Puppy and Adult".

We are all so glad to be back on Champ after the house move. As you know I was having a debate about what to feed because I felt Arwen, my 8 month old lurcher, needed the Little Champ! and my others ( a 3 year old lurcher and 2 old ex-racing greyhounds) the Adult Champ! – but because of the way they feed together they need to all eat the same stuff. Otherwise I have three extra heads in the puppy bowl!
Little Champ! is going down a storm and is not too rich for the older boys. So I will stick on that until Arwen is 12 months and fully grown. Then we will drop to ‘ordinary’ Champ! which is of course far from ‘ordinary’! People are always remarking that their coats are "oh, so velvety and soft” and ask what I feed. I’m proud to tell them all about you, your products and your excellent customer service.

"Little Champ for gsd pup"

on 11/8/2019

Review: First time using little champ for a puppy, wow I’m amazed at how good it is, my pup is a right gorgeous chunk, he’s 19 wks now and his adult coat is coming through, I thought his puppy fluff was like cotton wool, his adult coat is just as soft. He absolutely loves the food too. I love that the first ingredient is beef and lamb too. You really can’t go wrong with this food it is the best puppy food I have had. Thank you CSJ!!

"Graet and economical"

Review: Wanting to have the best for our 5 month old Black Labrador I shopped around the normal retail outlets. My friend then told us about this site and we have found the little Champ ideal for our dog which we mix with a little wet food. He loves it and has had no problem switching from his previous food. I am using the feed guide on here and he waits keenly for his food which he devours with gusto. He is great shape and this product will keep him like it. This product is working out at less that hal... More details
