Anna Hinze

Anna won the bronze medal in biathlon at the World Agility Open in 2015 with her Border Collie bitch ‘May’.
In the beginning
Anna was just 12 years old when she visited her first agility show as a spectator.
Noting the incredible speed and agility of Border Collies she knew right there and then that this is what she wanted to do!
However her first dog was a Cairn Terrier and Anna had a lot of fun training her.
Her dedication finally convinced her parents to get her a Border Collie when she was 17.
At 24 Anna now owns 2 beautiful Border Collies which she trains and competes in agility with.
The dogs
Both Border Collies - Jive is 7 years old and his daughter May (Amayze Me) is 4 years old.
What are the memorable successes you have had Anna?
“I qualified for all major German competitions like nationals and World Team Tryouts in the last 4 years with at least one of my dogs.
With May I competed at Cynosport World Games in the US in 2014, as well as at the US Open in 2014, where we won a silver medal.
In 2015, I qualified for the Gold Agility Final in Sweden and the Border Collie Classics, where we finished 7th.
At the KC International Agility Festival we won the International Agility round and had many placements.
Recently, we qualified for the World Agility Open Team for the third year.”

You may remember earlier this year you provided me with some advice regarding my agility dog. I asked about adding that little bit of extra stamina and you advised adding some CP Xtra. I have been trying this over the months since and I do feel it has made an improvement. I wouldn't say it is a dramatic change but I feel happier knowing I am giving him that bit more energy.
We have also changed one of our working collies on the farm onto CP24 and Xtra. He is the litter brother to my collie and we felt he was needing more energy and stamina for working. He has never been a speedy eater, he used to graze when he felt like eating. However, since changing to CSJ he has dramatically changed his appetite - he now sits and waits for his food and eats it all in one go rather than grazing. We feel he has better stamina and keeps his weight up better (he used to yo-yo a lot and go quite thin at times on other food).
So basically, an all-round thumbs-up for CSJ!! The dogs obviously like it and I feel better knowing I am giving a good quality food with good meat content and no crappy ingredients!!
