Ben & Matthew Robinson (Robinson Canicross)

Ben got involved in canicross as he had previously competed in Athletics/Cross country running and wanting to start running with his dog as a training companion. Since then him & his father, Matthew (also a keen runner) have added to their kennel of dogs & now both compete together within the Robinson Canicross family team.

Amongst their achievements are

  • Over 50 Canicross race wins within first two seasons in the sport (Ben & Bolt)
  • 2014/2015 CaniX National Series Champion (Ben & Bolt)
  • 2015 SDAS Canicross Champion (Ben & Bolt).
  • 2015 (Ben/Bolt), 2016 (Ben/Bolt) & 2017 (Ben/Tickle (Team Sherwin)) BSSF Canicross Champion (Three time & reigning British Senior Canicross Champion).
  • 2015 ECF European Championships - 4th & Relay Bronze (Ben & Bolt)
  • 2015/2016 CSJ Canicross Midlands Race Series Champions (Ben & Bolt)
  • 2015/2016 CSJ Canicross Midlands Race Series Champions (Matthew)
  • 2016 Vulcanicross Champion (Ben)
  • 2016 ECF Relay Bronze (Ben & Nika (Lucy Matthews)
  • 2016 IFFS European Championships Mixed Relay Bronze (Ben  & Raiki of Cushla & Simon Lamen)
  • 2016/2017 CSJ Canicross Midlands Race Series Champions (Matthew)
  • 2016/2017 BSSF British Championship Race Series Veteran Silver (Matthew/Bolt & Blake)

The kennel consists of Bolt (4 y/o male Weimaraner), Blake (1 y/o male Greyster) & Zofie (1 y/o female European Sled Dog).
