Nij Vyas

Internationally renowned author and sheepdog handler

Based in Leicestershire, Nij is the internationally respected author of ‘Sheepdog Training and Trials’ and has over 20 years’ experience, not only working with a variety of dog breeds but also specialising in training and working Border Collies, as well as other herding breeds.

His aims...

Nij says, “Having represented England at International level at sheepdog trials, my sheep dogs continue to achieve a high level of success and my aim is to help others achieve the same.”

He goes on, “I provide a controlled, structured and intelligent sheepdog training courses. I am very experienced at problem solving, having learned the hard way through perseverance with difficult dogs.”

Nij runs sheepdog clinics both in the UK and Internationally.  He is also the author of "Sheepdog Training and Trials" published by Crowood Press in 2010 - the book has been a success worldwide and signed copies are available from his website http://sheepdog-training.co.uk/
