Richard Preest

“Thought you might like to know that a friend of mine called Richard Preest, who regularly feeds CSJ dog food, has just won the Cocker Spaniel Championships with a dog he bred himself - FTCH Centrewal  Sweep.  Bred FTCH Orgest Yfwr x FTCH Centrewalk Daydream.

As well as Sweep, the kennel currently comprises…

  • Cocker Spaniel bitch FTCH Centrewalk Moonshell (Pixie)
  • Cocker Spaniel bitch FTCH Centrewalk Piccolo (Rosie)
  • Cocker Spaniel dog FTAW Centrewalk Topaz (Dexter)
  • Cocker Spaniel youngsters Olive and Elsie
  • English Springer Spaniel bitch FTOW Gatekeeper Meg of Centrewalk (Meg)

English Springer Spaniel youngster Bluebell

An eye-catching retrieve got Richard into trials!…

Richard says, “I got into trials after pulling off an eye-catching  retrieve picking up behind my boss the Duke of Beaufort. He was looking on and said to me, ‘You should trial that dog’ I had no idea what a field trial was so went to watch a novice cocker. I always played lots of sport, liked what I saw and with my competitive edge I was hooked. Took part in my first field trial in 2006 finished 4th and couldn't have felt any happier if I had won”

The biggest success to date?

“Winning 2016 Cocker Championships with FTCH Centrewalk Sweep.”

There have been other exciting achievements along the way…

Making up his first FTCH Centrewalk Daydream (Freckle)

Going on to finish 4th in the 2011 Cocker Championships

Making up to FTCH's the three puppies he kept from Freckle - all from different sires!!

Richard told CSJ, “Having tried various other feeds over the years, tried CSJ, all I can say is the dogs love it, they look well on it and they go well on it. That's all you can ask for.”

Richard can be contacted on 07920518627

Camelwood Labradors recommend CSJ

Camelwood Labradors recommend CSJ

I have bred and worked Labrador Retrievers for many years and used many types of working gundog foods. I find CSJ to be the best value and best quality food yet. I would recommend anyone to use it and see how your dogs really progress.
