'CP All-Rounder' by Charlotte Wilkinson - Dalerwa Gundogs

"I have always found it difficult to keep weight on some of my working labradors during the shooting/field trail season. They are working hard when out picking up and are required to maintain energy and focus during a field trial. Following advice from Ceri, I changed my slightly 'leggy' 2 year old to '"CP All-Rounder" to see if I could maintain her energy levels and get her to a better weight. The composition of the food proved to be an immediate hit with her and I was able to completely change her rations over to the new food quickly and without any fuss. Having been on the new diet for just over a month, I can already see that she is at a healthy weight and has ample energy when working. I have already placed an order for more "CP All-Rounder" and hope to move some of my other dogs onto it. I am sure it will have the same fantastic effect, allowing them to recover from the shooting/field trail season quickly and be ready for some working tests! Thank you CSJ."

CP27 and CP30 by Matthew Clarke

By Matthew Clarke

It all started in April with a long drive from Carlisle to a small village called Weissbach near Inzell in Germany close to the Austrian border.

We took our bitch Piper over to do a repeat mating with a fantastic lead dog from a good Bavarian friend of ours Andi Birkel.

After a scan 5 weeks later we had confirmation that the mating was successful and Piper was expecting puppies fantastic the gamble had again paid off.

At the 6.5 week stage we took Piper off the CSJ CP 30 and fed her on the cp 27 week 7, week 8 and she was really growing and looking in fantastic condition. Then on the 27th of June, Piper gave birth to 6 fantastic puppies, 4 bitches and 2 dogs, all weighing in excess of 480 grams. They were complete whoppers!

At the age of 3 weeks we started to wean the puppies on to the CP27 soaked in warm water and mashed up the puppies couldn't get enough they loved it, tthere was no question the puppies were lacking any nutrients from the food they were growing at such a rate .

At the first trip to our vets at the age of 8 weeks, the puppies at this point getting 4 feeds a day, but the vets couldn't believe the size and excellent condition of these youngsters ,they said what are you feeding them on!
to which we replied ,  CSJ

We went on to keep the puppies, until they were 15 weeks old , one of which remained in Quinaya's kennel, the other 5 were about to start their new lives as working sled dogs in Germany and Austria. All of which I'm confident will be at world championship level in the very near future

When our friends from across the pond came to make a selection of thir e puppies, they were amazed at the condition and excellent growth that CSJ had provided for these future stars

So we would like to take this opportunity to say a great big thank you to all at CSJ Specialist Canine Feeds, for their fantastic support and nutritional advice

Lesley Knowles - CP27 Puppy

Twiggy had her first litter of pups earlier this year and following advice from CSJ I used CP27 for Twiggy in the last stage of pregnancy and for weaning the pups.

The 5 pups all took to the  feed very well, grew very evenly and were lovely healthy pups. They were all early reaching their developmental milestones, were all very keen to learn and had  mastered basic commands by 8 weeks of age and then each pup went off to its new home and settled in very well right from the first night.

Their new owners have been thrilled with how well the pups coped with such a big change in their lives and as breeders we were very pleased with how well the puppies did.

Calm Down!

Kizzy stood out as dog training classes had refused to help, because her owner Donna is totally blind.

Other dogs barking at Kizzy had caused her to retaliate and bark back, which then escalated into a fear of small dogs and she would bark every time she passed one.

Donna worked hard with her by introducing her to dogs of various sizes and putting her on CSJ’s acclaimed Calm Down! herbal supplement.

When she finally found a dog club willing to allow them to attend Donna told CSJ, “I took her along and all my hard work and Calm Down! had done its stuff. She was absolutely fine and just barked twice the whole of the time we were there.”

The following week the group were doing a Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze test and Donna entered Kizzy just for practice…but she passed!

Donna told CSJ, “This is the best calming product I have ever tried. Don’t get me wrong, you have to put the work in. But if you work hard and use the product in conjunction, you can achieve a lot.”

Tamsin, Toby & Pheobe - Complete Tripe!

Just a follow up for you. Tried 3 types you sent as taste test. That was fascinating to watch - independently they both smelt all 3 and then scoffed the Tripe 1st - bingo!

I was worried they would like different ones. Been on Complete Tripe ever since and haven't looked back.

Dogs calm and happy, walking well and 'bounce' in anticipation of eating every day. Thanks Nicki and all at CSJ.

Julie Siddons - Old Champ!

Just wanted to update you on my dogs. All of them are looking a lot better. The old one is now on Old Champ!, for the first time in his life we have found a food he loves. The other two are on Fit and Fast! and their coats are a lot better. I was very successful at Crufts this year with my young one winning the Countrymans Weekly Trophy in the BASC ring for working dogs.

Donna Waring 'Calm Down!'

I wanted to let you know about the success I’ve had with Calm Down and my fourth puppy Kizzy.  I took Kizzy to training group and she was barked at solidly for 4 weeks of the class by one of those little pug crosses.   By week 5 my pup Kizzy had started to retaliate and bark back, and she was looking at the door all the time and was very uncomfortable.  This then escalated into a fear of small dogs where she would bark every time she passed one.

I gave her a break for 3 or 4 weeks from training and then took her back, but the minute we got outside the venue the barking and panting and stress behaviour began again, even though this was a different group of puppies.

So I then began working with her myself, introducing her to dogs of various different sizes, taking her free running off the lead with them and things, and I also put her on Calm Down.  I then spent about 5 months ringing around various dog clubs and groups to try and find one to take Kizzy to.  The problem I had was that when they heard I was totally blind, they insisted on me bringing someone with me, and as I live alone, I had no one to take.

Finally, I found one last week where they were willing for me and Kizzy to come alone.  I took her along and all my hard work and the Calm Down had done its stuff.  She was absolutely fine and just barked twice the whole of the time we were there.  So on week two which was yesterday, they were doing a Kennel Club Bronze test.  I put Kizzy in thinking it would be good practice for her even if she failed, and she passed!  What is more, she greeted a little Jack Russell Chihuahua cross nicely without barking, which hadn’t been there last week.  And she sat beside me minding her own business while I had cuddles with the dog.

This is the best calming product I have ever tried.  Don’t get me wrong, you have to put the work in.  But if you work hard and use the product in conjunction, you can achieve a lot.

I would just like to say a huge thank you.

Skye is now on the herbs and your food 'No Grainer'I have found a stockiest not far from me where i picked up a bag of food from the other Sunday.

We have now been on the no grainer for two weeks slowly introduced it with no ill affect.

Skye stools are solid and the best they have ever been and they don't smell, she has no pain or discomfort.

She is just a happy little dog now and loves your food.

I never thought I would get her right and that it was something that i would just have to have lived with but not any more.

I can not say how happy I am with your product and your services. You have been so helpful and fantasic.

Thank you so very much.

Ruth

Thank you for the samples, Cora voraciously enjoyed them all equally! As a start I ordered a bag of Champ Adult within 3 days she was calmer or not as manic, she is half way through the bag and has put weight on, looking slim and sleek not slim to thin.... and her coat feels lovely, smooth and we can even see a hint of whiskers on her chin, perhaps she will grow a wire coat.. after all. She is listening to  the whistle and generally her behaviour has improved, she still runs like the wind but just not so manically, as I write, she is snoring in her bed after a day outside. I will now order a couple of sacks, I am very pleased with the way this diet is suiting her, thank you.

Kathleen Somemrsett

I would like to thank you for the samples which were really helpful and all your help with my problem. Since my inquiry Maddie (German Shepherd) has been so much better. We put her on the No Grainer!

Toby my Labrador has gone on to Champ!.  Both dogs are thriving and full of life. Maddie's skin problems have cleared up and the hair on her back feet is grown back. She is so much happier without the constant irritation she must have suffered before going on to No Grainer!  She is on to her 2nd bag now.

Her daily treats have also been changed to all natural ones.   Many thanks again. Kathleen Sommersett.

As promised I want to update you on my dogs wellbeing. He is now on Little Champ with a flavouring of natural yoghurt.. ( No sugar). And would you believe it, no lameness and perfect bowel movements.

To cap it all, he's a happier individual and we've introduced a training programme with a well respected local lady. He sits for treats (proper training foods), he stays on command and he is much more assured in himself.

You did this for us, I have had Tibetan mastiff's amongst other giant breeds over my lifetime but a C.Otvcharka is a dog that needs a firm hand. And he's taken to the training beautifully, he's highly intelligent and will exhibit this trait with gentle, fun filled training. He also loves the company of other dogs no matter their size.

But the diet you recommended is absolutely perfect, thank you.

Just thought I would give you a wee update ... Well Larry has been on Hike On and CSJ Salmon Oil for about a month now and I am really pleased with his  progress. He has put on weight and his coat looks super .. he still needs to put on a little bit more weight I think but the change in a month is remarkable. So thank you once again for taking the time to reply to me and also to CSJ for their great food.

Heather

Just to let you know that Mirren and Skye are both doing really well on CP21. Mirren hardly itches at all now and they both eat up every drop every mealtime. Skye's coat is looking much better as he was a wee ragamuffin when we got him, and we didn't think mirrens coat could be any shinier but it is!

Just a line to thank you and to say we are now a month down the line and your treatments seem to be working for my boy. We will keep it up and contact you for a refill later.

My boy went to a show on 21st December and was better and more attentive to me than he has been for ages and got a 1st place!

He had a nice 3rd place on Saturday too in a biggish class.

Thanks again. I teach at the dog school and will be pleased to recommend your products to anyone.

Just thought I would send a quick follow up e mail now that my boys have been on the food for a few weeks. What can I say, we are over the moon with the transition.  The Lamb and Rice has worked best for Charlie (with the sensitive tummy) so I have just placed another order for that one, it was also the one one that all three were more drawn to during the taste test.  We are continuing to see a reduction in the size of Jakes Lipomas which is fantastic and something we never thought would happen we initially just wanted to prevent them from growing, all three of the dogs seem to have an extra spring in their step which is lovely to see especially in Jake who is back to chasing every duck, squirrel and rabbit!  The NO Ake has also been a success.  We took Rhandle to the vets for his med check up just in case but since being on the no ake he has been off the metacam completely :-).  He had a routine post opp appointment with the specialist yesterday who was also very impressed with his progress, Rhandles shoulder is considered an end stage joint so he had never thought he would be free from strong pain relief. We couldn't be happier and I would like to say a huge thank you for your advice.

Clare and Baxter

Just wanted to update you on our rescue pup Baxter since we have fed him CSJ That'll do. We have two local stockists local to us so after trying your samples we fetched a bag of food and also some salmon oil as recommended by you.  The difference in his skin and coat is amazing and he absolutely loves mealtimes.  He had some scabs and flaky skin when we got him but now his coat is thick and glossy and people often comment on how good he looks.  We are so pleased we tried your food and I will be recommending your website to other dog owners.  Thanks again for your help.

I just wanted to send a quick email to thank you for your help and the samples that you sent for Daisy, she loved the CP21 salmon and the complete tripe, I have just placed an order for the salmon food.  From the samples that were sent they have had helped to keep her poo regular and firm which is amazing, I was starting to think that the only foods that did not cause her problems was the very expensive vet recommended purina hypo food. Thank you again and thanks to CSJ for developing a range of foods that are both affordable and great quality. A very happy dog owner and a convert to CSJ.

Beverley Guthrie, Scotland

Thanks for the samples , my dogs are well behaved eaters but i was astounded to see them fighting to try to get to Baileys tripe to steal it.

I ordered the tripe from a local supplier and Hi/low and CP21 from your online shop and its been amazing the difference in them all. The girls are on the hi/low with a few kibbles of tripe to stop the stealing and Baileys doing really well on the tripe with no upset tummys  or loose bowels.

For an hour before meal times they would be walking the floor and running to their dish to try to get you to hurry but their new food seems to leave them fuller for longer and theyre not constantly scrounging.

Bailey is actually puting on a little weight with the tripe and looks much healthier. Hes always been scrawny no matter what we fed him and with his tum its been hard to keep weight on him

Thanks for your help. When i order next i will try the oil and treats you recommended!

Emma Sunderland (and Kes and Pep)

You may remember earlier this year you provided me with some advice regarding my agility dog. I asked about adding that little bit of extra stamina and you advised adding some CP Xtra. I have been trying this over the months since and I do feel it has made an improvement. I wouldn't say it is a dramatic change but I feel happier knowing I am giving him that bit more energy.

We have also changed one of our working collies on the farm onto CP24 and Xtra. He is the litter brother to my collie and we felt he was needing more energy and stamina for working. He has never been a speedy eater, he used to graze when he felt like eating. However, since changing to CSJ he has dramatically changed his appetite - he now sits and waits for his food and eats it all in one go rather than grazing. We feel he has better stamina and keeps his weight up better (he used to yo-yo a lot and go quite thin at times on other food).

So basically, an all-round thumbs-up for CSJ!! The dogs obviously like it and I feel better knowing I am giving a good quality food with good meat content and no crappy ingredients!!
